Instructions:
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Cook Ground Beef: In a large skillet, cook ground beef and onion over medium heat until beef is cooked through and onions are soft. Season with salt and pepper.
- Layer Ingredients: Spread cooked beef mixture in the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle with half of the shredded cheddar cheese. Layer tater tots on top, then drizzle with Big Mac sauce.
- Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
- Add Toppings: Sprinkle remaining cheddar cheese over the casserole and bake for 5 more minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly. Top with pickles, tomatoes, and lettuce.
- Serve: Serve as is or in sesame seed buns for a Big Mac-inspired experience.
