Ingredients
- 8 mini waffles
- 4 breakfast sausage patties
- 4 large eggs
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- 1 tablespoon butter or oil
- Maple syrup, optional
Instructions
- Toast the mini waffles according to package directions until golden and crisp.
- Cook the sausage patties in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked, about 3–4 minutes per side.
- In the same skillet, fry or scramble the eggs to your preference.
- Place a slice of cheese on each sausage patty while still hot so it melts slightly.
- Assemble each sandwich:
- 1 waffle
- sausage patty
- egg
- cheese
- top with another waffle
- Serve warm with maple syrup if desired.
Make-Ahead Tip
Wrap sandwiches individually and freeze. Reheat in the microwave for 1–2 minutes or in the air fryer/toaster oven until hot.
