Pioneer Woman Cheeseburger Pie
Instructions
1. Preheat & Prep
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Grease a pie dish with butter or cooking spray.
2. Cook the Beef
- Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add onion and garlic; cook until soft and fragrant.
- Season with salt, pepper, paprika, oregano, basil, and Worcestershire.
- Stir well and remove from heat.
3. Assemble the Pie
- Spread beef mixture evenly in the pie dish.
- Sprinkle cheddar cheese over the top.
4. Make the Batter
- In a bowl, whisk together milk, flour, eggs, baking powder, and salt until smooth.
- Pour over the beef and cheese.
5. Bake & Serve
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, until golden and set.
- Let cool slightly before slicing.
- Serve warm with a side salad, pickles, or a drizzle of ketchup for the full cheeseburger experience.
