4. Add the Cheese:
Evenly sprinkle or layer the mozzarella over the mustard.
Optionally, sprinkle some black pepper or herbs for added flavor.
5. Roll It Up:
Roll the pastry sheet tightly from one edge, like a jelly roll.
Once rolled, gently press the seam to seal.
6. Slice Into Rolls:
Slice the roll into 2–3 cm thick rounds (about 1 inch).
7. Egg Wash (Optional):
Beat 1 egg and brush the tops of the rolls to give a golden, shiny finish.
8. Bake:
Place rolls flat side down on the prepared baking tray.
Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.
9. Cool & Serve:
Let cool slightly before serving. Serve warm or at room temperature.
