Cheesy Ground Beef Casserole Recipe

Instructions:
1. Preheat Oven
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.

2. Cook the Beef Mixture
In a large skillet, cook ground beef with chopped onion and bell pepper until browned.

Drain any excess fat.

Add corn, drained tomatoes, and taco seasoning.

Stir well and cook for 5 minutes, allowing flavors to blend.

3. (Optional) Biscuit or Cornbread Base
Prepare biscuit or cornbread mix and spread evenly in the bottom of the baking dish.

Prebake for 10 minutes (helps prevent sogginess).

4. Assemble the Casserole
Spoon the beef mixture over the base (or directly into the dish if not using a base).

Spread sour cream over the top of the meat layer.

Sprinkle shredded cheese generously over the sour cream.
