Slow Cooker Lipton Onion Potatoes

Ingredients :

  • 2 lbs small red or Yukon gold potatoes, halved or quartered
  • 1 packet Lipton Onion Soup Mix
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika (optional, for color)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish (optional)

Directions :

1. Prepare the Potatoes
Wash and cut the potatoes in half or quarters, depending on their size. Make sure all pieces are uniform for even cooking.

2. Season the Potatoes
In a large bowl, combine the potatoes, Lipton Onion Soup Mix, olive oil, melted butter, minced garlic, black pepper, and paprika (if using). Toss until the potatoes are evenly coated.

3. Set Up the Slow Cooker
Lightly grease the inside of your slow cooker with cooking spray or a bit of olive oil to prevent sticking.
Add the seasoned potatoes and spread them evenly.

4. Cook the Potatoes
Cover and cook on low heat for 4–5 hours or high heat for 2–3 hours, until the potatoes are tender. Stir once or twice during cooking to ensure even coating and to prevent sticking.

5. Finish and Serve
Once the potatoes are fork-tender, give them a gentle stir to distribute the flavors.
Garnish with chopped parsley before serving for a fresh touch.
